DG’s visit and display of anti-corruption message at closing ceremony f 34th national games, quetta on May 30, 2023Sports Department, Govt of Balochistan organized 34 National Games in collaboration with the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) in Quetta, after lapse of 19 years. The closing ceremony of the 34 National Games was organized at Ayub Stadium, Quetta on 30 May 2023. A&P Wing NAB (B) also managed to arrange an awareness stall at the said closing ceremony. DG NAB (B) Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan was invited as a guest whereas President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi graced the occasion as chief guest. In these games, over 3000 athletes competed and on the final points table, Pak Army leaded with 368 medals followed by WAPDA at second position with 263 medals and Pakistan Navy scored third position with 108 medals. The President distributed the souvenirs/gifts amongst the winners. The President and other members belonging to sports Department and Provincial Governments shared their views and appreciated the efforts of organizers.

Inter-Wing/Cell Sports Tournaments at NAB (Balochistan) on September 18th, 2023A&P Wing NAB (Balochistan) arranged Inter-Wing/Cell Sports Competitions of Futsal, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tug of War and Snooker among the officers and officials of NAB (Balochistan) from 18th to 22th September, 2023 to promote healthy activities inclusivity.

Sports Tournaments arranged by NAB (B) in collaboration with Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Quetta among Schools and Colleges on October 18th, 2023NAB Balochistan, in collaboration with the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta organized sports tournaments in Quetta involving schools and colleges, featuring Futsal, Table Tennis, and Badminton. The events conducted from 12th to 18th October, 2023 and 16x teams of colleges and schools participated therein. At the end of tournament, a Seminar was arranged wherein Mr. Aijaz Azeem Baloch, Chairman of Balochistan Intermediate and Secondary Education and Mr. Muhammad Rashad, Director A&P, NAB shared their views regarding corruption. The winners were given prizes therein by the BBISE. An anti-corruption awareness campaign ran alongside the tournament.

Inter-University Sports Tournaments arranged by NAB(B) In Collaboration with Sports Department Govt of Balochistan Quetta on October 23rd, 2023NAB (B) in collaboration with Sports Department organized Inter-University Sports Tournaments from 19th till 22nd October, 2023 wherein games of Cricket, Hockey, Badminton, Football, Futsal and Table Tennis were played. Female students also played separate matches in Futsal, Badminton, Cricket and Table Tennis. At the end of tournament, a seminar was arranged on 23rd of October, 2023 at Ayub Stadium, Quetta. Chief Guest of the event was DG NAB (B) Mr. Zafar Iqbal Khan whereas Secretary Sports Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Jamali and DG Balochistan Sports Deptt Mr. Durra Baloch also accompanied him being the host therein. DG NAB (B) in his remarks said that engaging students in healthy sports activities can play an important role in fostering a corruption-free society. He applauded the performances of participating players, the focal persons and other allied members for these competitions. The students of University of Balochistan, Quetta, BUITEMS University, University of Turbat and NUST University won 5, 2, 1 & 1 prizes for winners respectively in different games.
