Short films can play a powerful role in eradicating corruption by raising awareness and highlighting its detrimental effects on society. Through compelling storytelling, they can engage viewers emotionally, inspiring a deeper understanding of the consequences of corruption and the importance of integrity. Short films can also depict real-life scenarios, offering solutions and showcasing the positive outcomes of transparency and accountability. By reaching a wide audience, these films can spark discussions, challenge social norms, and motivate individuals to take action in combating corruption.
Keeping in view the importance of short films, NAB (B) arranged Inter-Universities short film competition 2024 amongst all Public Sector universities of Balochistan. Total 11 x short films were received from the Universities in Balochistan. A panel of judges on 11th November, 2024 evaluated the short films and accordingly the short film produced by University of Gwadar secured the top position.
