SAVING ON ACCOUNT OF ABOLITION OF POSTS
In light of Cabinet decision on the recommendation of High-Powered Committee on rightsizing of the Federal Government, National Accountability Bureau has abolished 238x posts in various cadres. Resultantly, there will be saving of Rs. 355.982 million annually.
SAVING ON ACCOUNT OF CUT ON POL ENTITLEMENT
As per Austerity Measures announced by the Government for the Financial Year 2022-23, a 30% cut on POL was imposed on entitlement of government functionaries w.e.f. 01.07.2022. Moreover, fuel provision was further reduced in accordance with the Additional Austerity Measures of 2026. As a result, an expenditure amounting to Rs. 26.193 million was saved by National Accountability Bureau.
