Interactive Session on Anti-Corruption & Oath taking ceremony of Character Building Society (CBS) was organized by Directorate of Students Societies, University of Malakand in collaboration with NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 29^th May, 2024. The VC of University of Malakand, Prof Dr. Rashid Ahmad, Dr. Fazal Akbar, Deputy Registrar Establishment, Mr. Jamil Anwar Abbasi, Deputy Director Students Societies, Faculty Members & Students from various departments attended the event.  The Guest Speaker Mr. Akhtar Ali, Director NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa delivered a lecture & emphasized that awareness & prevention regarding corruption is very crucial for promoting transparency, accountability & good governance. He explained the role of youth / students in combating the menace of corruption through strengthening their own character by remaining truthful and dutiful in routine life. After brief lecture, a fruitful Questions & answers session was conducted. At the end, an oath taking ceremony was held in which Vice Chancellor, Cabinet of Character Building Society, University of Malakand and all students took oath. Prof Dr Rashid Ahmad vowed that they will put their efforts in elimination of corruption from the society through sustainable efforts. Faculty and students applauded the interaction with NAB and committed to play their due role in eradication of corruption from the society. Finally, Director A&P NAB KP exchanged souvenirs with the VC of University of Malakand.
