Director General NAB(KP), Mr. Ghazi Rehman and Mr. Akhtar Ali, Director (A&P) wing NAB(KP) visited Peshawar University Campus on 24th May, 2024. Vice Chancellor of Peshawar University, Professor Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan welcomed them at his office where a meeting was held with Deans/ Heads of departments of Peshawar University including Sociology, Statistics, Criminology, Philosophy, Geology, Geography and Psychology. DG NAB also highlighted about research conducted at Universities by the students and faculty. He conveyed the vision of Chairman NAB to conduct research on the topics relevant to corruption and its negative impacts on Economic and Social fabrics of the society. DG NAB KP emphasized that potent research on the Mines and Minerals resources (Nephrite and other precious stones) in KP is need of the hour. Teams headed by the senior faculty members may dig out the hidden resources through their research activities in the public interest of this province. At the end, Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar and all participants appreciated the interaction and committed to play active role in combating corruption and it’s eradication from the society.
