ISLAMABAD, April 11, 2017: On the direction of Mr. Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Chairman NAB, A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between NAB and Police Training College Sihala at NAB Headquarter in order to train newly recruited 96 Investigation officers of NAB at Police Training College Sihala on modern Lines.
As per details, NAB through NTS advertised 97 posts of Investigation Officers on 03-07-2016. In response to the NAB advertisement, 94,165 applications were received. After scrutiny, 80,377 candidates were called for written test conducted by NTS on 04-09-2016 followed by Psychological test on 05-11-2016. After screening test, the Departmental Selection Committee of NAB carried out Interviews of short listed candidates at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad with effect from 30-01-2017. NAB on March 28, 2017 issued offers of appointment letters to 96 successful candidates.
NAB's newly recruited 96 Investigation Officers will now be trained at Police Training College Sihala where this would be the second batch of NAB Investigation Officers to be trained at the same training facility on modern lines. Earlier in 2015 a batch of 104 Investigation officers of NAB were trained successfully at Police College Sihala.
